Over the next twelve months we’ll once again be travelling as much as possible trying our hardest to meet our serious wanderlust with our very limited annual leave.
In March we’re going to Berlin where we will be glamping indoors, seeing Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men and going on a Trabi Safari.
A couple of weeks later we’ll make the most of the four day Easter bank holiday weekend in Northern Ireland. We’ll be hiring a car and driving the Causeway Coastal Route from Belfast to Londonderry.
In the summer we’ll go on our first ever road trip in our beloved camper van Roxy. We plan to drive through Europe to Croatia where we’ll drive the length of the country taking in the beautiful coast, old towns and national parks.
In August we’ll be going to the Spa Francorchamps Grand Prix for the second time and we will have Stu’s brother and his fiancé as company. After last year, we know we need our waterproofs and a shovel and this time we’ll be going in Roxy.
For our third wedding anniversary we plan to not go to London as usual and instead go to Slovenia so we can see Lake Bled for ourselves instead of looking at the stunning photographs.
We plan to bring in 2014 in New York. We’ve visited the American capital before but there’s so much we didn’t see. And who doesn’t want to go to this magical city when it’s all decorated for Christmas? We will hopefully get chance to meet up with some American friends we met on our trip in Iceland.
So there we have it, that is what our 2013 is shaping up to look like. No doubt we will have many more smaller trips around the UK. Have you got any tips for these destinations?
